. . . don't want to start a Holy war here, but tomorrow is Easter and I like these two songs about Easter.

1 - Handel's 'Messiah' is mostly connected with Christmas celebrations, but it was written for Easter.  The first part is about the birth of Jesus, the latter (the 'Hallelujah Chorus'), is about the resurrection of Jesus.

2 - Part of the long poem 'Dies Irae' (the day of anger), 'Pie Jesu' (pronounced 'pee-yay') translates to 'pious' or 'devout' Jesus.  Pie Jesu is the final stanza - a prayer asking for protection of the deceased.

The most recognized version is Andrew Lloyd Weber's sung by Sarah Brightman -enjoy her performance.

I don’t remember which show I was watching on television a few years ago, but Marie Osmond tearfully sang “Pie Jesu” as a tribute to her son Michael, who had just committed suicide. She had a hard time getting through it.   It was beautiful and I’ve loved it ever since.  Thanks for posting.
