Fyi - flew in late last night to visit my Mom.  The main lobby and the steps leading up to the TSA security were decorated nicely.

As the plane landed, I pointed out to first time ELP visitors the star on the mountain.  Told them it was a Christmas season thing (although we know it is year round) lasting to probably the weekend after the Epiphany.

They really went all out with the decorations!  Looks great.  I haven't been in the EP airport in years.  I don't recognize it.  Do you know if JoAnn Tagami still works there?  Surely she has retired.

How is your mom?  I know that she has lots of health issues.  I hope that dementia isn't one of them.  Has your dad passed?  I'm sorry that I can't remember.

  I was praying for you last night to have a safe trip.  How long do you plan to stay?  I'll be praying that your return trip goes as scheduled without any trouble or delays.

  Do you have time to see any friends while you are in EP?  Hope you have good weather.

I think they do the best job of Christmas decorating!! We've only flown in a couple of times in December, and each time we were amazed at the beautiful decorations! I'm praying for you and for your mom! Betty
