Joy? Where is it? - Gospel reflection: 3rd Sunday of Advent

Dear friends in Jesus, 

               The third Sunday of Advent is traditionally known as the Gaudete Sunday or Joyful Sunday. The underlying theme of the readings is 'be joyful in everything.' Isn't it something we always dream of? Don't we want to be joyful all the time? But why aren't we?
