Serve to lead - Gospel reflection: 29th Sunday of OT

Dear friends in Jesus, 

          Last Sunday, on 10 Oct, Pope Francis announced the beginning of the "Synod on Synodality." This is officially known as "Synod 2021-2023: For a Synodal Church." For the next two years, Bishops around the world will consult everyone from parishioners to monks about how the Church can be more "synodal" in its governance. 

        As Catholics, we should watch this process carefully and actively take part in it since the outcome of this very important synod will tell how the Church will move into the future. More than everything, we should pray to the Holy Spirit to guide the whole Church in the direction HE wants.
