Do you want to be the first? - Gospel reflection: 25th Sunday of OT

Dear friends in Jesus, 

           The disciples' argument in the gospel exposes a common weakness we all share: Am I the greatest, noblest, bravest, wealthiest, most educated or most beautiful? We all have a desire to be the first of something. Well, Jesus has a method for it. If you want to be the first, you better learn that method well.
