The sequence of events is below:

Engagement  and Reception-  May 31st evening- From  4 P.M onwards
Marriage Muhurtam- June 1st - 7 A.M to 8.30 A.M

Karamadai.
30 Minutes from Coimbatore Main Bus stand. On the way to Mettupalayam. (So can take any bus to Mettupalayam and get down at Karamadai Main bus stand).
