Ai, On the topic of David's request, below is an outline of the steps to follow. opkors you can modipie et base on aktwal turn op ebents
--------------------
obj.: produce a grid raster of the nc crop files in
- WGS84
- cell resolution same as the nc file
- limited to the extent of the pov layer
1. unzip all nc files
2. open arcmap
3. add the pov layer from lorie
4. create a raster from layer file above (this will serve as mask)
- make sure resolution is the same as the nc file
- cell values are 1
5. import nc files using the tool (forgot what it is called) in the multidimensional toolbox
- use filenaming convention: rmkty2k_'cropname' (without the single quotes)
- remember that this will be saved in memory so if you do a batch file be sure you have enough mem to accommodate the raster
6. Once the imported raster is added to the TOC export it as a grid file with the same output name
- use data export
- modify the data frame properties
+ coordinates same as the raster pov layer
+ extent same as the raster pov layer
note: don't forget to make a metadata
perhaps you can create a model in model builder to automate it
obj.: get top crops from grid rasters
- do as you did in the previous exercise that went bad
