IRRI-TMC: December 3 Speakathon Role-takers and Guidelines

You have received this message because you are partaking in the upcoming speech marathon (speakathon) on December 3, Thursday (5:30 pm - 7:30 pm). The program will be divided into two groups with corresponding rooms. Group 1 (main room) and Group 2 (breakout room).

Below is the list of role-takers in your group.

Kindly prepare a speech within your allotted time based on the Pathways and email your evaluation form (see the link to pathways evaluation forms) to your assigned evaluator ahead of time (on or before November 30, 2020). Also send me your SOTTEN today.

I would also appreciate if you can send me your self-introduction of three (3) sentences only. (example: your hobby, favorite quotation, short term goal, long term goal).

After your speech delivery, upload the accomplished evaluation form from your evaluator to Toastmasters Base Camp. 

Should you have a Powerpoint or any presentation, kindly send it to our zoom master Melchor del Rosario (melc...@gmail.com) no later than December 2.

Evaluators,

Please make sure you have the evaluation sheet and project details with you no later than December 2. The speaker assigned to you will send their evaluation form (in PDF). You may also refer to this link for the pathways evaluation forms) 

You have two to three minutes to give your evaluation. After the speech delivery of the speaker, accomplish the evaluation form and email it to your assigned speaker. Copy VP-Education Melchor (melc...@gmail.com) in the email to accredit the speech project.

Hi Eunice!

I'm wondering if you could rearrange the speakers and evaluators. You have me listed to evaluate EJ. But Liza told me she submitted her SOTTEN with me as evaluator - and also sent me her evaluation form. She thought I should be the one because I have done the DTM project. I said ok as long as she cleared it with you. Also, I note that Jessica is my evaluator - but is scheduled to do it immediately after her speech. Maybe you could put another speech between her presentation and evaluation? It's doable, but just more taxing than necessary, I think. If I am to evaluate Liza, I note that same complication ...

So far, the only thing that I see that needs changing is replacing Sir Caling with you as Ms. Liza's evaluator. 

As for the arrangement of evaluators, I've thought of that and I don't see any problem with the order of evaluators. After all, all evaluation reports will be done AFTER all the speeches (not right after every speech). And I don't think that's difficult?
