I had a meeting with Rakesh sir, DGM Law and following are some of the areas which need further deliberation:-
1. Charter of demands: Though not exhaustive, we should have some demands. We need to come up with this.
2. Regarding elections, as we all may be at different parts of the country, an online voting mechanism was proposed wherein all would have a login id and can cast their votes online.
3. Filling all the office bearer positions via selection on the basis of seniority only needs to be discussed further. The need of election for some positions and for committee members needs to be addressed.
4. Registration : there is confusion regarding registration as some places it is done by Registrar of societies and by SDM in some places. Irrespective, we would need some person we know otherwise registering can in itself be a challenge. So pls volunteer.
Also, we need an address for the society to start with.
