Looks like there is a tour tommorow but there is no information on how to meet up or where exactly the tour is going. As a club member it is pretty sad that this information is not available. Oh well...

Thanks to everyone who replied to me, PCA do have my correct email so I don't know why I didn't hear anything.
Hope everyone has fun on the tour, sadly it is going to run too long for me, maybe next time.

Attention 356, 914, 911 and any other vintage Porsches. I'm reaching out to the Vintage Porsche community to invite them to the Annual Beehive Targa.

What is it?

www.beehivetarga.com

The Beehive Targa Vintage Rally is not a race and it is not a car show. It’s an event for all ages and backgrounds to get together and experience the pleasure of driving in the most scenic parts of america.

The spirit of the rally does not lay in the make or model of your car but how you approach the event. Roads fair from rough to pristine. It doesn’t matter how fast you drive but how much fun you have getting there. And it all goes to a good cause!

All proceeds from the rally go to support the non-profit charity Splore.

(Splore is a non-profit organization that specializes in experiences for individuals of all abilities. Since 1977 Splore has made it possible for individuals to have experiences they would normally not be able to have. http://www.splore.org/ )

Event Details
Drivers, mark your calendars for October 6-8, the Beehive Targa vintage car rally is back for another round! For those of you that haven't heard, the Beehive Targa is a three day vintage car rally through the heart of Utah's Canyon country. Starting in Park City, UT and ending in Salt Lake City, the rally winds its way through deserted canyons and country roads with a couple overnight stays in select locations. We'll be covering all types of roads, from tight and twisty and goaty as hell to fast open sweepers, and maybe even some [very well] groomed fire roads. The scenery is second to non.

The rules are simple:

-Be in a pre 1976 car. It can be Weinfeld-style Jag-classy or Drewitz-style Sprite-character, Mehari-ballsy, or Trans-Am giant.

-Bring tools, a willingness to use them, and maybe even a AAA card just in case you need to be towed out of the hinterlands. A chase truck and trailer will be available.

-This is not a race. Lawyer blahbety-blah, indemnity, waiver, so on and so forth... We fully expect everyone to drive within their limits. Don't drive like a twit.

-Bring a good attitude.

ENTRY FEE INCLUDES:
• Hotel Stay for Both Nights
• Catered finisher's awards dinner on Monday
• Route maps
• Sticker pack and rally bag, 2 tees and some other goodies

Summer is a busy time. Cruise Nights, the Concourses d'Whatevers, and mowing your lawn all get in the way, sure. But we'd like to offer one more chance to stretch your old cars' legs before the winder hits. So dust off the Giulia or Jag or Citroën or whatever pre-76 car, we're going driving!

If you have any questions, don't be shy. Contact us at in...@beehivetarga.com

Hope to see you out there!

Thanks Guys.

Pete
