In late 2017, the City Council approved a pilot program to partner with the non-profit Covia to launch Home Match Contra Costa. Covia has now merged with another non-profit organization, Front Porch. The Program matches Concord and other Contra Costa County homeowners, who would like to share their homes for companionship, extra income, and sometimes even help around the house.
Home Match, a Front Porch Communities and Services program, is a proud partner of the City's "House Mill Valley" initiative to create affordable housing opportunities for its local community and workforce. Home Match is a home-sharing program that connects people with extra rooms in their homes with community members seeking affordable housing options.

Home Match is a free service that connects people seeking to rent a room in their home/ apartment or ADU on their property with community members seeking affordable housing options. Home Providers benefit from additional income, companionship, and, or help with chores such as grocery shopping, pet care, or transportation. Home Seekers benefit from increased access to affordable housing options and navigation services. We vet participants with interviews and background checks, make introductions based on lifestyle preferences and social compatibility, facilitate development of lease agreements that include agreements on shared use of space, and provide ongoing support throughout the match.
All Participating Jurisdictions (PJs) must contribute or match no less than 25 cents for each dollar of HOME funds spent on affordable housing. As PJs draw funds from HOME Investment Trust Funds, they incur a match liability, which must be satisfied by the end of each federal fiscal year. The matching contribution adds to the resources available for HOME-assisted or HOME-eligible projects, and must come in the form of a permanent contribution to affordable housing. Generally, investments from state or local governments or the private sector qualify as matching contributions, whereas federal funds (such as CDBG) do not qualify. Eligible sources of a match for HOME funds include: cash; donated construction materials or volunteer labor; value of donated land or real property; value of foregone interest, taxes, fees, or charges levied by public or private entities; investments in on-or offsite improvements; proceeds from bond financing; the cost of supportive services provided to families living in HOME units; and the cost of homebuyer counseling to families purchasing HOME-assisted units.
The HOME statute provides for a reduction of the matching contribution requirement under three conditions: 1) fiscal distress; 2) severe fiscal distress; and 3) for Presidentially-declared major disasters covered under the Stafford Act.
Local Jurisdictions
When a local jurisdiction meets one of the distress criteria, it is determined to be in fiscal distress and receives a 50 percent reduction of match. If a local jurisdiction satisfies both distress criteria, it is determined to be in severe fiscal distress and receives a 100 percent reduction of match.
This list includes match reductions granted for FY 2023 due to fiscal distress, severe fiscal distress, and Presidential disaster declarations. For those Participating Jurisdictions (PJs) with fiscal distress and Presidential disaster match reductions, the PJ may take the higher match reduction for the current fiscal year.
Note: Since match reductions due to major Presidential disaster declarations are requested by PJs and granted by field offices at any time during the fiscal year, this list will be updated as needed.
Why must HOME PJs, which are permitted to determine the start date of the program year for their HOME and other CPD programs, meet their HOME match obligations based upon the Federal fiscal year (October 1-September 30)?
The purpose of this Notice is to: (1) provide match reductions for HOME PJs satisfying the distress criteria in accordance with 24 CFR 92.222 of the HOME Program regulations; and, (2) inform Field Offices how to notify Headquarters of match reductions approved by Field Offices for Presidentially-declared major disasters under the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act.
The purpose of This Notice is to provide match reductions for HOME Program participating jurisdictions (PJs) satisfying the distress criteria in accordance with 24 CFR 92.222 of the HOME Program regulations.
This Notice provides guidance to PJs on identifying eligible sources of matching contributions, calculating the value of matching contributions, determining the point at which a contribution may be recognized as match, and tracking matching obligations and contributions.
All retirees, faculty and staff currently working, and alumni are welcome to attend. This is primarily for home providers who are interested in renting space in their home. We will have group activities and a discussion of:
The free program, which is growing in popularity in Marin and elsewhere in the Bay Area as rents continue to rise, emphasizes social compatibility and lifestyle preferences, while also offering lower-cost rents for the tenants and extra income for the homeowners.
Luke Barnesmoore, strategy director for Home Match, said there have been 21 new matches in Marin since April 2022, compared with 14 matches the prior year. During the past year, there were 226 applications from home seekers and 46 from home providers, he said.

"I was in a difficult financial situation and needed to sell my house fast. Homematch made it possible. They provided me with a fair cash offer and closed the deal quickly. I was impressed with their expertise and support throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Homematch to anyone looking to sell their house fast and with ease."

This is 100% YOUR decision. If it were me, I would stick with the existing style. I actually think knowing what style your home is and researching home details that fall within those parameters, makes the renovation process a bit easier.
You nailed it! As a frequent buyer of homes, I always have to price in the fix to make or undo changes. When the bones match inside and out then you just need to decorate which is much easier and can be far more personal.
The hydration status of rugby league players during competitive home match play was assessed throughout the 2008 Super League season. Fourteen players from 2 Super League clubs were monitored (72 observations). On arrival, 2 h prior to kick off, following normal prematch routines, players' body mass were measured following a urine void. Prematch fluid intake, urine output, and osmolality were assessed until kick off, with additional measurements at half time. Fluid intake was also monitored during match play for club B only, and final measurements of variables were made at the end of the match. Mean body mass loss per match was 1.28 0.7 kg (club A, 1.15 kg; club B, 1.40 kg), which would equate to an average level of dehydration of 1.31% (mass loss, assumed to be water loss, expressed as a percentage of body mass), with considerable intra-individual coefficient of variation (CV, 47%). Mean fluid intake for club B was 0.64 0.5 L during match play, while fluid loss was 2.0 0.7 L, with considerable intra-individual CV (51% and 34%, respectively). Mean urine osmolality was 396 252 mosmkg-1 on arrival, 237 177 mosmkg-1 prematch, 315 133 mosmkg-1 at half time, and 489 150 mosmkg-1 postmatch. Body mass losses were primarily a consequence of body fluid losses not being completely balanced by fluid intake. Furthermore, these data show that there is large inter- and intra-individual variability of hydration across matches, highlighting the need for future assessment of individual relevance.
Hello, I will be traveling to Florence in November and I'm planning on going to the Fiorentina - Juventus match. I know tickets probably won't go on sale until closer to the day, but I want to get an idea of how to go about getting the tickets and also where we should sit. First of all, how would I get the tickets? Can I purchase them online or since I'm not an Italian resident would I have to purchase the tickets in person? If I have to buy them in person, I'm not going to arrive in Florence until the day before the match will I still be able to get tickets considering that it's a big match?
