BBQ & Games at City Park - Friday July 3

Hey y'all!

 

If anyone is up for it, we are doing a get-to-gether at City Park tomorrow (Friday, July 3). Just in case you don't know, July 3 is the date that Idaho became a state... so let's celebrate!

This is bring your own everything :-). I'll provide some paper plates, plastic-ware, napkins & cups... otherwise, everyone is on their own.

 

Food: We'll have a small grill available, or you could bring something that doesn't require grilling.

 

Drinks: Bring some drinks for yourself and/or to share (especially if you have good beer... share).

 

You may want to bring a chair or two or a blanket. There are picnic tables, but guessing it'll be busy on Friday afternoon.

 

If you have some fun and games you want to bring, go for it. We'll have on hand:

 

1) Cornhole (it's the beanbag toss one)

2) Bocce Ball

3) Raquetball

We ARE still meeting over the summer. If you could, please reply to all so folks know whether anyone will be there.

 

A couple items:

 

1) Fourteener... August 15th. Be ready to climb and be manly and stuff. :-).

 

2) Pathways leader Q&A. Spoke with Mike Ross a bit and told him we'd love him, Ron or Gil to join us some Tuesday morning. He was very open to it. I want to make sure we do it on a week where have a good representation from the group. This is a follow-up to the discussions/questions that have come up about Pathways direction, resources for spiritual growth for folks across the spectrum of where they are at in their journey. When are you guys all going to be able to be back to the group? I'd like to pick a Tues where we'll have as many there as possible.

 

3) I'll be traveling on and off this summer, so I'll email any week I'm NOT going to be there. I will be there tomorrow, but not next week. The rest of the summer is sporadic for me. Plz email the group w/what your summer looks like.
