The Imperial Schedule for the reign will be as follows, and also included are some various events across the Empire and Amtgard at large:
Thursday, July 5th @ 7pm: Skype meeting for whoever wishes to talk to the monarch and regent about their questions, concerns, or needs. Email casc...@gmail.com if you are interested in joining in! We hope to make this a regular thing to promote communication throughout the Empire, so your participation is very welcome and appreciated.
Monday, July 9th @6:30pm: Build a kit for your favorite class! This will be held at Casca and Kord's house in Arvada, CO. Email casc...@gmail.com if you need directions. Some fabric may be provided, but if you can, please bring your own fabric.
Sunday, July 22nd: The duchy of Olympus is having their Dragonmaster and Weaponmaster tournaments.
Wed July 25th through Sun July 29th: Clan is being held near Cloudcroft, NM (Weeds, NM?) and so is the annual Circle of Monarchs meeting. If you have any input that you would like our fearless Red Tallest to take to the meeting, now is the time to let our Empress know. Email casc...@gmail.com to give your input.
Sat, August 4th: The principality of Polaris is having their crown qualification tournament at Mists of the Dawn.
Sun, August 5th: The Empire would like to welcome anyone who wishes to join them in visiting the freehold shire of Grey Lantern in Cheyenne, WY as they are currently petitioning to join our great and glorious Empire.
Thurs, Aug 16th through Sun, Aug 19th: The kingdom of Desert Winds is holding Dragon Blade Wars.
Sat, August 25th: Dragonmaster and Weaponmaster will be held at Tennyson Knolls Park in Arvada, CO. Now is the time to start gearing up to compete!
September: This whole month is the Interkingdom Food Fight! Get with your regional representative if you have questions or wish to assist: Rafeki for mountain time zone and Cio Cio for central time. Don't know what the Amtgard Food Fight is? Take a look at the website: http://www.amtgardfoodfight.com.
Sat Sept 1st: BBQ fundraiser and v8 play test in the Crown Lands
Thurs Sept 6th through Sun Sept 9th: Summer Trials, Querna Tema's largest event is being held.
Fri, Sept 21st through Sun, Sept 23rd: The core's own Northern Holdfast is hosting Irken Stock and in combination with this event will be the Iron Mountains Midreign. There will be much Invader Zim related fun to be had! Don't forget that our all powerful leaders, The Tallest, will want award recommendations prior to this weekend so keep this in mind.
October: Squiggly-spooch a&s competition runs this month. Don't know what a squiggly-spooch is? Neither do we! Let's find out together!
Sat Oct 13th: The Empire would like to welcome anyone who wishes to join them in visiting the freehold shire of Steel Forge in Pueblo, CO as they are currently petitioning to join our great and glorious Empire.
Sat Oct 27th: Due to the approach of Halloween and in conjunction with the Invader Zim theme, there will be a Holloweenies Battlegame Extravaganza! Odds are this will be run in the Crown Lands, but all the rules will be released well in advance so that other parks could potentially play the game the same weekend in their own lands. :)
Sat Nov 17th: Crown Quals. The location has yet to be determined, but that's no reason to not start your entries now!
Sat Dec 15th and Sun Dec 16th: Hot Chocolate Weekend! Fight the coming winter and holiday slump with a hot chocolate time all across the Empire! All you need is for a person or two to step up with bringing supplies, your park's players to put on their mittens and come out and play, and know that all across the Empire other Amtgarders are drinking their hot chocolate while freezing their tails off this weekend with you!
Sat Jan 5th: Imperial Coronation! Did someone say those horrible worm Humans versus the handsome and charismatic Irken versus Santa and his Robot Elves? Quite possibly! Come see those condescending jerks The Tallest get what they deserve: kicked out of office! Location to be announced.
