iRODS integration with existing repositories for publication

Hi,

Is/Are there a repository/repositories (for example: Dataverse, DSpace, invenioRDM, etc.) which is/are already integrated with iRODS, so that data from iRODS can be published through this repository/these repositories?

Hi Jana,

The Consortium has a plugin for publishing, the code for which can be found here: https://github.com/irods/irods_capability_publishing

It has not been released, but it is something we can look into if Consortium and community members take an interest in this capability.

I do not know of any other generally applicable efforts in the area of publishing.

Dear Jana,

at KU Leuven we have developed an application for synchronizing files from different source repositories into a Dataverse installation.

It is available as open source and it is listed in the integrations page of Dataverse documentation (https://guides.dataverse.org/en/latest/admin/integrations.html): 

https://github.com/libis/rdm-integration

In addition to iRODS the application also has plugins for the following systems:GitHub, GitLab , Dataverse (use other Dataverse as source to import the data),Microsoft OneDrive, Microsoft SharePoint Online, OSF, SFTP, REDCap. 

We are also working on a tool to be able to push data from iRODS to a Dataverse (initiating it from iRODS). 

This is still in development an still basic (more a prove a concept) but you can check it  if you are interested here: https://github.com/kuleuven/iRODS-Dataverse

Thank you very much for your messages/informations. I will check and read the given links....

Just for Info:  I currently have a test instance of iRODS and a test instance of InvenioRDM and I wonder if these two systems could be integrated. That's why I asked.
