Dear all,
We’re happy to let you know that we will be running iBridges training sessions for researchers in the academic year 2026/2027. These sessions are meant for anyone working with iRODS, from people who are just getting started to scientific programmers who want to strengthen their understanding of iRODS concepts, improve their data workflows, and make good use of the iBridges clients.
You can find the schedule, materials, and practical information here:
https://ibridges-for-irods.github.io/iBridges-Training/
It would be great if you could share these training sessions within your teams and research groups. Even though the exercises use the iBridges clients, the sessions cover core iRODS concepts, which many researchers find helpful when they begin working with data‑management workflows. If you have colleagues who are new to iRODS or who would benefit from a bit of guided onboarding, encouraging them to join can make their first steps much easier.
The sessions cover the essentials, include hands‑on exercises, and walk through compute workflows, so they’re useful for people working in a wide range of research areas.
If you have any questions or would like to talk through what your group might need, feel free to get in touch with us.
Kind regards,
Christine
