how to create link for collections?

Hello,

Is that possible to create a collection link to another collection into iRODS? I mean the same when 'ln' command is used on linux.

Because my I have a collection on my public share user home directory and when I login with a normal user I want a collection link to point to that one. I know the 'irods_cwd' property on irods_environment.json config file redirect my user to the directory I want. This is very good when I login using iCommands. But my problem is because I used to login with Davrods (webdav interface to iRODS).

So I am thinking to create a link collection on my home directory that points to the shared collection.

The iCommand imcoll will do that for you.

imcoll -m link /absolute/path/to/collection /absolute/path/to/link
