I see that there's a pin on the mini din serial port that will turn the robot on when set to ground for a short time.  I've even rigged up a momentary switch from that pin to the ground pin and it works fine turning the robot on.  But I'm using the Create as a platform for a telepresence robot so no one will be there to push the button for the remote user.  So I need my software to be able to wake the robot up.  I was thinking there was a serial command just for such an occasion if the hardware connected with the serial cable needed a nudge to wake up or turn on or get ready for the next serial data packet.  Does anyone know of such a thing or has been able to turn the Create on with just a serial or software command?  Will I have to rig up an extra circuit with its own dedicated arduino just to press this switch/pin with software?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

I think that the scheduler can wake up the Create, so there may something worth investigating there.
