Basic information verifying connectivity between my Create2 and RealTerm.

Hello everyone,

     I've just purchased a used Create 2, and have a couple of questions.  I'm trying to use RealTerm to adjust the settings on my Create, specifically the cliff sensors.  I have the Create Serial/USB connectivity cable and am running RealTerm 2.0.0.70 on Windows 7, 64 Bit to access the Create.  For the port settings, I'm using 57600 Baud with 8/N/1 for the port in question which has been set in the Device Manager and locally for RealTerm.

     While plugged into the Create serial port, I can see the wake command when I power it up, but any command I transfer over seems to do nothing.  What should be the normal connectivity indications on the on the Status window?

     Also what would the SCI command chain be for the cliff sensors to activate or de-activate them?  Or is there a post that discuss the SCI command strings.   Thank you for your time.
