Charging Errors

I left my Create 2 uncharged for 6 months and now it won't charge up. 

It tries to for a moment then dock charging light goes off and the batter icon blinks slow two times then fast two times while the center sign is green. This repeats to no end. 

If I press the center button when it is green it goes red and give batter dead alert. 

Anyone know what it might be? Is the battery totally dead?
