Clip Studio Paint is optimized for drawing and painting, making it ideal for illustrators. The painting brushes are highly customizable and easy to use. There's a thriving community of users who constantly contribute to the online materials library. Clip Studio Paint is also ideal for illustrators who specialize in linework. The smoothness of lines, lack of lag while drawing, as well as the vector output make drawing very fun and efficient.

CSP is a versatile digital painting program great for painting and inking with many unique features.
One of my favourites is the perspective ruler which is super useful and convenient for planning or drawing backgrounds!

Is it possible to, or is it an intended future addition to be able to have open images in multiple undockable windows? I frequently want to cut and paste from one image to another / edit images side by side and I don't see a way to do this currently.

Hi, I love Paint.NET. I use it all the time, and have donated. Could you please consider making it possible to be able to see two images at the same time? I would really like to see both at the same time, for instance today I am trying to reverse-engineer a fuzzbox I made 20 years ago, by looking at the front and the back of the circuit card at the same time, and tag the parts I have scribed into the schematic with a transparent yellow mark on each image. It makes me lose my orientation to have to click between the single images. Please look into having multiple windows. Thanks!

You've created your window. Now you want to show something inside it. In Windows terminology, this is called painting the window. To mix metaphors, a window is a blank canvas, waiting for you to fill it.

Sometimes your program will initiate painting to update the appearance of the window. At other times, the operating system will notify you that you must repaint a portion of the window. When this occurs, the operating system sends the window a WM_PAINT message. The portion of the window that must be painted is called the update region.

You are only responsible for painting the client area. The surrounding frame, including the title bar, is automatically painted by the operating system. After you finish painting the client area, you clear the update region, which tells the operating system that it does not need to send another WM_PAINT message until something changes.

In our first example program, the painting routine is very simple. It just fills the entire client area with a solid color. Still, this example is enough to demonstrate some of the important concepts.

Start the painting operation by calling the BeginPaint function. This function fills in the PAINTSTRUCT structure with information on the repaint request. The current update region is given in the rcPaint member of PAINTSTRUCT. This update region is defined relative to the client area:

The details of FillRect are not important for this example, but the second parameter gives the coordinates of the rectangle to fill. In this case, we pass in the entire update region (the rcPaint member of PAINTSTRUCT). On the first WM_PAINT message, the entire client area needs to be painted, so rcPaint will contain the entire client area. On subsequent WM_PAINT messages, rcPaint might contain a smaller rectangle.

What is the trick for painting windows without taping or scraping? Masking Liquid H2O. I ordered this product from my local Ace Hardware and it was there within a day, but you can also order it from Amazon!

When it was completely dry, I painted the exterior of the window using Benjamin Moore Regal Select Exterior Paint. Not having to worry about being too neat or careful made this job so much faster and easier to do!

We let it dry overnight. I could hardly wait to get outside the next morning to see how this product worked! My husband and I took turns scoring along the edges of the window panes with a utility knife and then peeling back the film. It was actually fun! (Is that weird that I think painting windows is fun?)

This is the BEST idea ever! We have a shed that we put some very old windows in and I have been both wanting to paint them and totally dreading the idea. Now I can without completely hating the job. Thank you!! Pinned.

I finally tested out this theory with this Vintage Window Flower Box and it really did take me just seconds to scrape all of that extra paint off the glass. And honestly, it looked so much better than even my most careful taping jobs!

How have I not thought of this?! I have taped, I have painted, I have also scraped paint off. Never thought of scraping after I paint. I too cannot stand the prep portion of a project. Or sanding, sanding is my sworn enemy. It takes so long and is really boring. I just want to get to the fun portion of a project. I love the end results with your window!

In addition to using straight-edge blades, you can consider using 0000 steel wool. This is a super fine grade and is a personal preference over blades for some. Many claim it increases the threat of scratching, but if done properly with a fresh, clean pad, can remove a lot of paint in little time.

Hi, I work for a builder and I recognize those windows. They are in fact wood, they look like the Pella Lifestyle line, and they should be double hung. Also, both sashes pop right out of the tracks very easily which would have made them much easier for you to paint and not worry about getting paint on the trim. You just flip them down like you would when you go to clean them, and then lift them out of the tracks. Less Hassel and potential mess in a finished room with black paint. I hope that helps!

Overall, Microsoft's program continues to withstand the test of time, despite the innovations we see today in the world of photo editing and digital painting. By providing an easy way to create and edit files, MS Paint has been key for numerous users to express their creativity, even with the limitations that the program has.

For Designer Series windows and/or patio doors with a hinged glass panel, the warranty does not require you to finish underneath this panel. However, if you choose to finish this area underneath, it will accept paint or stain. If finishing the surface, DO NOT remove the hinged glass panel; just open it and finish the visible wood. Close the panel immediately when finished (it will not stick).

Soap vs. Detergent
Soap is essentially reduced animal fat or vegetable oil mixed with lye. Detergent, on the other hand, can mean a variety of things. In general, detergent is a surfactant, which means that it lowers the surface tension of a liquid such as water and makes it easier to clean whatever is immersed in that liquid. Some detergents use very caustic agents in order to achieve this effect. In addition, many detergents used in automatic dishwashers have an acid wash additive that removes hard water stains at the end of the rinse cycle. This corrosive nature of many detergents is why they should NEVER be used for window painting. To help keep this problem from happening here are some common examples of soap and detergent.

Cleanup
It is preferable that students cleanup any window painting project themselves, with special attention paid to the concrete and silicone seals surrounding the window frames. Cleanup should occur immediately after the publicized event is over to aid in ease of removing the paint. Students should also coordinate their efforts with Housing & Dining custodial in case additional assistance is required or if questions arise during the cleanup process. Keep in mind:

While I've been using computers pretty much my whole life, I've never actually managed to draw anything great on a computer. Sure, I'm pretty good at editing photos in Adobe Photoshop, but creating art from a scratch using my own (virtual) paintbrush has always been a challenge.

My first order of business was to try freehand drawing SpiceRex, the beloved Spiceworks Community mascot, using the "3D doodle" feature in Paint 3D. The result was a rather blobby shape that I then painted orange, applied an eyeball sticker to, and added 3D cones to for teeth.

With the pigment-challenged dinosaur in the app, I gave his body the orange spray tan treatment, and used the paintbrush to whiten his teeth. Then, I put a cartoony sticker on his eyes to make him a bit more friendly looking. And because my SpiceRex model wouldn't be complete without his signature catchphrase, I added 3D lettering above his head, then resized and rotated the "RAWR!!!" for emphasis.

I'm pretty surprised that this feature is getting any hype. There is plenty of 3d modeling software out there and some of it is already free. When a new operating system is released, why should I care about the inclusion of a 3d paint program?
