At the moment I really want play a survival game but I think I already played all the best, I played no man's sky, astroneer, minecraft, terraria, ark ,raft, valheim, rust, Conan exiles, craftopia, subnautica the forest, tried pixark (maybe I forgot some, but these where the best) and now I don't really know what to play. I'm looking for a game that's more based on pve and grinding. Do you have some recommendations what to play? I found empyrion, but it looks like too complex, maybe some similar games like I listed would be nice. Thanks in advance
I've only used MineCraft and Terraria. I generally dislike side-scrollers and therefore I think Minecraft is better, more immersive, given it's 3-D first-person perspective.
Well except for creepers... there's a mob that should not exist.
The hours of gameplay i've had with minecraft are just countless, playing nearly everyday since october 2011 (pirate) and ended up buying it in July 2012. Gotta say the best money spent in my life (while it was still cheap).
Terraria has come a long way since its realease and has way more items and blocks and everything than minecraft, and as well it has a very good redstone-like system that has seen a lot of very creative stuff like engines and minigames and... too much stuff, even "hoiks" and helpfull glitches (like the Bud swithes or quasiconectivity of minecraft).
I've put a lot of hours in both Minecraft and Terraria and i can say that they are 2 completely different games with different concepts, they are uncomparable. (that didn't stop me from remaking a Terraria structure in Minecraft, quite a challenge!)
Also for minecraft's cons, the enderman can be stopped by toggling the mobgriefing gamerule. However this means that no mob can break any blocks (creepers, endermen, withers, ect.) so that could be it's own problem. They don't break many blocks anyway, and I believe (but not 100% sure) they can't even break blocks placed by you.
Redstone? Who came up with that? "Dust" to carry power? Really? Why do you guys call that nonsense a "feature"?
* At least Survivalcraft has wires (colored coded wires at that, that can cross each other!), and 40 different animals and fish (so much for "MoCreatures").
* Total Miner (an old 360 game) had a real economy, and went to a depth of over 2,000 blocks (now there were some caves!). You guys think going to the Nether is something- you ain't lived till you dig down to around level 900 and pop into Hell with a 100 or so screeching giant killer spiders that love to munch on your head!
* StarMade is the space-based MC a lot of people are looking for.
The point is MC is just the first of it's kind. Many of the "clones" you guys love to knock have taken MC to the next level and came up with a fresh take on an old game... and many times better ways of doing things.
Minecraft is successful as it's a "simple" (until you get into real stuff like World painting, McEdit, Modding, Redstone and commands) game, many would think that a complex game would be better but in the end, the most popular games are the simplest, although they die quickly like flappy bird, clash of clans, angry birds, etc.
Crucially, the closure of the on-trade in many global markets has left craft operators struggling. The craft sector tends to rely heavily on the on-trade as well as on receipts from taprooms and visitor centres in order to drive sales. Craft beer also typically has a relatively short shelf life and weeks of lockdown will leave stock unusable whether in warehouse, in closed on-premise outlets, or, in the case of South Africa (where a total ban on the sale of alcohol is in place), anywhere in the distribution chain. Small-batch spirits have somewhat of an advantage in this respect.
Where government regulations allow, many craft operators are turning their efforts to go direct to consumers. As for much of the beverage alcohol sector, ecommerce is proving a saviour here. Even the crudest ecommerce and app platforms are seemingly rewarded by consumers, especially loyal ones who recognise the need to continue spending with their favourite brands in order to help them survive through the pandemic.
In markets such as the US, where state laws curtail ecommerce opportunities for producers, many craft brewers and distillers are offering drive through, click and collect, or pick up orders on-site even if their venues are closed.
Some craft players have made use of their trading license to temporarily turn their shop/on-premise hybrids into neighbourhood stores. For example, a distributor in the UK has trialled selling larger format options and supplementing his business by selling local vegetables, local breads and local dairy produce to consumers who are tired of queuing to get into supermarkets or who want to support local businesses.

The gameplay in Survival And Craft: Crafting In The Ocean is relatively intuitive. You can move around your makeshift raft using the joystick found on the left side of the screen. If you are going to mine for any significant period of time, it may be helpful to carry a crafting table and chest(s) down into the mine with you. That way you can stash some blocks or ores in the chest instead of carrying them around all the time.
Although the whistle is a helpful tool in Survivalcraft, you need to remember that your horses, donkeys, and camels will only come to you if you are within a 30 block range. So it is not a good idea to allow your saddled animals to wander about, thinking you can summon them with a whistle. It is a good idea to keep your animals in a double fence, and keep the whistle just for emergencies, etc. if you fall off of your horse, and it continues to run, you can summon it again. Using the whistle will also make cows and bulls run away.
Using a magnet is a great way to ensure you don't lose home. Simply craft a Magnet, place it close to your home, and carry a compass with you whenever you plan to stray afar. You can also just craft a compass, and It will attract to your last sleep position.
