Hi,

I am using the current build, logged in as an admin, while in edit mode I go to View -> Plans and Schedules.  I type the name of the new plan into the create textbox and click Create.  The textbox is cleared, but nothing is created.  Is there something else that needs to be in place before a plan is added?

Thanks,
Bob

Hi Bob, maybe verify you have create and write permissions for those
types. Also, maybe try creating the first plan via db SQL statements.
This will also help you understand the underlying relationships
between plans and other related tables, which is very helpful for
debugging. After you get the first plan inserted, restart your IRIS
server and they should show up in the client.

Hi Robert.

This is mainly a UI design issue.  In order to create an Action Plan, a default phase must be selected in the Default Phase dropdown.  If no phase (see the Plan Phases tab) exists, one must first be created.

Hope this helps!

Related -- There appears to also be a UI bug where the Default Phase combobox does not enable even if edit mode and permission req's are met unless edit mode is toggled off then on again while viewing the Action Tab. I have not yet checked whether this bug is present in the most recent version.
