Panel for 10th PGETC 2019-2020

Hi all,

We're assembling our panel for the Pandanet Go European Team
Championships this year.

This year we're in league C and we'll be up against Norway, Denmark,
Croatia, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Greece.

In terms of time commitment, it's roughly one Tuesday per month from
October through May: our 4 strongest available players line up against
the opposing team via Pandanet.

New panelists welcome! I'm also happy to add anyone who'd just like to
follow along to the team mailing list. Let me know.

Hi Cian,

I used to be the captain of the Polish team few seasons back. I made a spreadsheet to help me select players - given line-ups for both sides of the match it fetches GoR scores and computes win/draw/loss probabilities. This allows different people to play while making sure chances of winning are good.

I realize you'll be choosing from a smaller pool than I was, but if you're interested, I'm happy to share the spreadsheet.

Thank you Marek!

I think that our current system is OK given our size (and we'll be
stretched facing the top half of league C already so will want our
strongest teams!)

Here's to the day that the Irish PGETC panel is big enough that we
have difficulty selecting players. ;o)
