plotting time series with 'highlight' and 'ylim' properties

Hi folks, I am having trouble plotting time series in figures that have both a highlighted region and a trimmed y axes. Do you know how I could solve this? I have attached a simple example.

Haha, IRIS apparently does not like the Infinity in it :)) I'll fix it... Can you pls create an Issue for this -- preferably on the new website?
