Job Title: DevOps Software Engineer
Location: California Folsom

Open for contract $60/hr
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and
manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
- Collaborate with
development teams to ensure smooth integration of code changes and
deployments.
- Develop and maintain
scripts for automation of system configurations and deployments.
- Manage version control
systems and ensure best practices are followed for code management.
- Monitor and optimize
system performance, reliability, and security.
- Participate in
troubleshooting and resolving issues in development, test, and production
environments.
- Continuously improve
existing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide technical
guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proven experience with
CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Strong scripting skills
in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Expertise in version
control systems, particularly Git.
- Solid understanding of
containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with cloud
platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code (e.g.,
Terraform, CloudFormation).
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with
monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Knowledge of Agile
methodologies and DevOps best practices.
- Experience with
configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Understanding of
security best practices in DevOps.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in
Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10 15 years of
experience in software development and DevOps practices.
- Strong problem solving
skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication
and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt to
changing technologies and learn new skills quickly.
