The colossal statue of Lord Shiva is said to be the biggest in South Asia. The statue was constructed on the initiative of Mr.Kamal Jain. Mr .Jain has also contributed to construct a park in the area. The park that spreads over 75 ropanis has a 32-bed Ayurvedic hospital, a spa and meditation centers. The park and the statue were constructed at the cost of around Rs.120 million, according to Mr.jain. One has to pay NRs. 20 to enter the park and temple.
