Hi, I am going to trip to ireland and I have looked for some hotels
and are quite expensive. The cheapest one is the Regency hotel and I
would want to know where is located.

Hello,

It's in Santry and some distance from the city centre. You need to add
bus fares (and taxis if you're returning late at night and don't wish
to use the night bus) to your costings. Here's a review from one of my
newsletter subscribers:

"the room was very clean but the room safe was not working and the
receptionist gave the key to a pal of my friend without asking for
identification. I suppose you can get that anywhere and never leave
anything valuable in your hotel rooms."

If there are two of you, then consider the Jury's Inn hotels since
they charge by the room. Also check whether breakfast is included.

You're most welcome to mail me for more ideas - I write and edit a
website about Dublin (see my signature). You're welcome to join and
have access to my exclusive accommodation reports for Ireland
(including Dublin). Most importantly, if you found this information
helpful, would you tell me about your accommodation on your return
please?

Good luck,

Peter
