There is a book called "A critical exposition of the popular jihad"
written by Molvi Chirag Ali, circa 1880. This piece of work is the
"silver bullet" to the criticism of Islam made by non-Muslims
regarding jihad etc. This is the most exhaustive work I have ever seen
in the defence of Quran.
