Bornand raised in Trinidad and Tobago, Candace Cummings, owner of The iCandy Shop, sat down with the Global Carnivalist to give me some insight into what inspires her and what she loves most about makeup. My crew and I were fortunate enough to vibe with Candace and Giselle on Carnival Monday and Tuesday while getting our faces beat, pampered and of course entertained. Candace believes that you should glow up without the cake up. Here is what she had to say.

My signature look is neutral, for me less is more and I aim to enhance natural features. The thing about my style that sets me apart from other makeup artists, would definitely have to be the fact that I focus on enhancing natural beauty rather than putting on a whole new face. I strongly believe that makeup is still supposed to look like skin.
