Melrose Kitchen Tour

Hi VEX team,

As you may be aware, students are able to participate in the iRaiders programs without paying any fees in large part due to the annual Kitchen Tour.  This year's tour is on Sunday, November 6th, from 1-5pm. We need some help in order to make this work:

- We need students to serve as Kitchen Hosts.  This involves arriving at your assigned house at 12:30 and staying until shortly past 5.  You will help set up. greet guests, help direct guests through the home, and help the homeowners (tasks like keeping munchies stocked, picking up trash, etc).  Our goal is to have two students at each house, so if we have enough volunteers, you won't be alone. You don't need to get dressed up, but you should be dressed neatly (please no athletic pants/yoga pants) and wearing an iRaiders tshirt if you have one.

- We need parents to help with picking up food from local businesses and delivering it to the tour stops on the morning of the event, and/or picking up supplies at the end of the event.

- We need your help promoting the event and selling tickets!  Tickets are currently available online at https://www.showclix.com/event/melrosekitchentour2016  In the next week or two, we will give each student an envelope with tickets, and we ask that you try to sell them.

- Also, thinking ahead, we need people who are interested in helping to organize the tour.  Next year will be our last year, so it would be great to have the next crew on board to learn the ropes.  :)
