IQ 15.4 ESD 3 Using Redhat 5.7

Does anyone have any experience with 15.4 running under  Redhat ( 5.7) .  We are experiencing frequent Linux server hangs and reboots along with IQ hanging.  I have a case opened with tech support and they are pointing to the OS.  Our Unix group points to IQ.   Right now Sybase suspects that it may have something to do with NSF or the network due to messages in /var/log/messages and dmesg pointing to random hangs for more that 120 seconds.  We are seeing the message blocked for more that 120 seconds.  Our strace shows FUTEX_WAIT_PRIVATE prior to the server rebooting.  

 

So far we have looked at the large page setting, if the Network card is full duplex.  If anyone has any suggestions or ideas on what could be wrong, I would appreciate any input.   Another symptom I am seeing is that Sybase IQ should be performing better.  We upgraded our servers to large Intel boxs and the performance is the same as our older system.

Were running Red Hat EL5/ LINUX  and have both IQ 15.1 which I just upgraded to 5.4 without any issues. IBM wrote a great white paper on the settings for RH IQ. Try googling it
