There will be no impact on existing setup as IPv4 and IPv6 are two separate address families And they can't talk to each other.
Both v4 and v6 will continue to exist for atleast 5 yrs and then v4 will start to decrease gradually.

Will the implementation makes some change in existing Routing algorithm?

to IPv6 in India
Hi Abish,

As Kansal stated correctly, there will not be any impact on existing
IPv4 setups, but as our backbone is not ready fully for IPv6. We
(Indian ISPs and other ISPs in world) will run IPv6 over IPv4 (6RD) or
on PPP, to answer your question, IPv6 also supports routing protocols
such as OSPF, IGRP, IS-IS but these routing protocols will run on IPv6
addresses,

If I understand your question correctly, there is no need to make
changes in existing Routing algorithm (for IPv4)

Regards
Ambarish

And if you are using OSPF, then you have to use OSPFv3 as IPv6 support is not there in v2.

And if you are using MPLS in your backbone, then you need not to touch your Provider Router. Just use 6PE or 6VPE and your network will be IPv6 Ready.
