I just stumbled upon this wonderful portmanteau in another online forum: obliviot. How long till it enters the OED? I'm betting by 2018. (Earliest citation I found was 2005!)

We've all known them. I've worked with several; I have a permanent slight flat spot in my forehead from the numerous exasperated face-palms stemming from those interactions. Many have been managers, often senior ones—perhaps a consequence of the Peter Principle.
