I'm a fan of architecture. And one of my favorite buildings is Citicorp Center in Manhattan. Its elegant and eccentric design makes it stand out from the buildings around it, even as Manhattan's skyline becomes ever more congested. And it almost came tumbling down because of a critical engineering oversight.
