Why the USA is afraid of Huawei

Interesting article on Huawei and its dominance in 5G technology.

One small part of the article references its automated smartphone factory which produce 2,000,000 smartphones per month with a human staff of 17 (has photo).

Today’s Axios says all advanced countries with sole exception of Canada has banned Huawei from 5G contracts on suspicion that their extremely low bids were a trojan horse for spybugs.  (And Canada arrested the company’s CFO where she remains in jail.

I guess you have two choices. Use equipment made in the USA with the built in NSA backdoor and definitely be spied on by Uncle Sam and his minions or use Huawei equipment and possibly be spied on by Uncle Xi and his minions.
