This Bloomberg chart maps the most likely marriage partners of various occupations showing male to female; female to male; and same sex pairings. I never knew that male probation officers, financial analysts and artists all married large numbers of elementary and middle school teachers. On the other hand, the fact that a lot of waitresses marry cooks seems more logical.

While hedge fund managers must suspect they are being married for money, at least musicians are clear they're being married for their talent.  I suppose there may have been some deal-breaker genre of choice issues.  Even then, the musician's psyche wins.  He's not being dumped for no talent, just some dumb broad's shallow taste.
