That depends on the audience. To most governments that, as he says, are also

engaging in espionage, it is not news...

Hayden is on a shameless PR-spin crusade to rewrite his place in history, particularly as

it relates to torture. Most recently in the release of his memoir, "Playing to the Edge".

Charlie Savage, writing for the NY Review, does a great job tearing it to pieces here.
