I hope you don't mind me outing you, Vince.

Before we was blowing dust off of antiquarian books, you might've found Vince fire polishing some glass tubing over a cannon fire: Vince was a neon artist. For those who appreciate the art form, there's a new book out about San Francisco's neon and a current photographic exhibit: http://www.neonbook.xyz/index.html. I love neon. Kate and I saw a lot of it in Miami earlier this year, where much of it adorns that city's collection of beautiful art deco buildings (which I also appreciate. I've attached a photo of a sign I really liked. It's not a great exposure; I took it on the fly.
