Anderson Update

Hi all,
As of 8pm, March 18, the nurse has said that that Anderson's surgery will probably be a few more hours. They estimate that they'll be done maybe at 12am.
It's been a long day for everybody, but we're glad that Anderson can just go through this recovery and then be discharged sooner (hopefully) rather than later.
Everyone's been so encouraging and supportive. Please continue to pray. I'll keep you updated with any news that we get.

Hi everyone,
We just had another update from the nurse. Anderson's doing well and he's now in the MRI machine checking to see if they got all the tumor. If the MRI is clean, then they can close up and be done. If there's more to remove, then it could take another few more hours.
Dr. Weinberg, the neurosurgeon, has sent a message to us letting us know that he's OK and he's taking his time and not to worry about him. He said that he was more worried about us in the waiting room. :) Praise God for such a wonderful surgeon.
Our next update should be at midnight if it goes that long or sooner if they end sooner.

Hi all,
More updates. The nurse came by and told us that they're done and the doctor will come out to see us before 11:30pm our time which is 9:30pm CA time.
He'll be in the ICU tonight. I'm excited to see him. :) It's been too long.
Please pray that he'll wake up from the anesthesia well, that there will be minimal side effects from the surgeries and for a speedy, but full recovery.
