Test Competition Problems

Hi all,

Thanks for your patience as we get the IPPC off the ground.

Test competition problems are now available:

Note that these files uncompress to 1.1 Gb so make sure you have hard drive space.  For the *boolean* MDP and POMDP competitions, please see the respective files in the main directory of the archive:

  pomdp_instance_list.txt

There are 31 instances... sorry, I don't yet have a generator for traffic so there is only one instance for traffic at this time.  There are 10 instances for the other three problems.

This directory and filename format here will be used in the final competition.

I have tried very hard to reduce the size of the translations (SPUDD, Symbolic Perseus, PPDDL), but what we have now is the best I'll be able to achieve for the competition.  I note that some of the problem translations are *very* large... in short, I'm interested to know where everyone's planner breaks so that I can size competition problems accordingly.

Please note that the test competition is a chance for everyone including the competition organizers to iron out bugs.  So if the domains are too easy or too hard, the trials too few, the horizon too short, we'll pick that up now and correct it for the final competition.  Please email Sungwook and me any concerns you may have.

My focus now is on getting EC2 instructions to everyone... I hope to send that soon.
