IPPAPTA - 2015 Start and Membership

Greetings and welcome to the start of the school year! with the Indian Prairie Project Arrow PTA!

We have set our schedule and are lining up some speakers from the District Administration and from outside the District; our first meeting will be on 9/23/14 at the Crouse Education Center. One topic we'll be discussing a fair amount this year is the State's plans to change its funding formula for schools. The State Legislature is considering School Funding Reform Act of 2014 (SB16); you can access the Bill's text here: http://www.isbe.net/budget/fy15/fy15-sb16-ppt.pdf.

Also, please remember to join the IPPA PTA for the year. A strong membership number increases our voice and visibility. You can download the membership form at our web site. For your convenience, I've attached it to this email.
