Celente says below
<So not having enough resources to go around, while true today, is only true because there's no money in making products that last, otherwise there would be plenty of resources on planet earth for everyone.>
That is a presumption that does not stand up to rational consideration. The operation of our civilization entails using irreplaceable resources. Money just encourages using these resources at an unnecessarily high rate. Making products that last would help in easing the powering down. But what about the problem of operating and maintaining cities as resources like oil become scarce?

Stay alert. Be smart. Take proactive measures to go through financial crisis unscathed.

P.S. -- When you get to it, check out "The Venus Project" because when the money crisis goes critical and the population finally loses all confidence in our leaders, your mind will be more open to economic alternatives such as a society that operates on a resource-based economy rather than a money-based economy.

(keep in mind that when Celente says there's not enough resources to go around, that fact is only true because business cannot succeed unless products break down. There is no such thing today as products that last as long as possible because there's no profit in that. So not having enough resources to go around, while true today, is only true because there's no money in making products that last, otherwise there would be plenty of resources on planet earth for everyone) editor and publisher of the Trends Journal are coming true. part .
