Can you set these step?

1. Enable directed broadcast in VPN settings. (like a "ip directed-broadcast" command in cisco)

2. Set each other's broadcast address.
2.1  ipmsg client is in 192.167.., then set 192.168.0.255.
2.2  ipmsg client is in 192.168.., then set 192.167.0.255.

Thanks for your Prompt reply .

I don;t have Cisco manageable switch , Only Fortigate and Cyberoam Firewall on both end .

I have manually added Broadcast IP as below on both side and it's working  . is it possible to broadcast from firewall level to avoid the manual entry .

Hi Hiroaki Shirouzu,

what are ports used by ip messenger to communicate in different VLAN?

IPMsg uses 2425 TCP/UDP.

IPMsg v4.5 has been released.
It has the Member Master mode that enables auto member detection over routers.

Japanese user reported "ipmsg (for master) can run by task scheduler"
It is not windows service, but I think it is useful for some people.

When i test it , i found the 'task scheduler' is nice way,  but when i want to open the ipmsg window , the application report 'bind() error=10048',  why? How can i view the front windows of the ipmsg at this time?

Sorry, IP Messenger can run 1 user in 1 PC.

I think you try to run scheduler's ipmsg and desktop's ipmsg.
