When I try to send a long message it gets placed in the send queue ! 

Do you have a solution please ?

It seems your receiver's OS/firewall drop fragment UDP packet (more than 1500 byte)
firewall sometimes drops IP fragment packets, it depends on firewall settings.

(You can use search keyword "drop fragment packets")

P.S Some old RealTek NIC have UDP checksum offload bug. If you use it, it requires to off "UDP checksum offload(IPv4)" in the detail settings of the adoptor options in the netowrk settings of Windows.
