iPlay4e integration API?

So how does one go about building something that integrates with iPlay4e similar to what Masterplan has done?

 

Reason I ask is that I want to build my own initiative/combat tracker (none of the ones already out there work the way I want) and we already use iPlay4e, so it would be great if I could leverage all the information that is already available there in my custom tracker app.

 

Does anyone know how to get that information or get the conversation going with the iPlay4e devs?
