I finally got around to writing a Data API page. It doesn't yet have
all the documentation on the XML formats, but it does tell you how to
retrieve particular objects.

Hi Andrew,

These two example URLs appear to be the same:

• http://iplay4e.appspot.com/view?key=agdpcGxheTRlchMLEgtDaGFyYWN0ZXJWMhiHnxsM&xsl=jPint returns the XML for the character Gilpa, with a reference to the mobile XSL.
• http://iplay4e.appspot.com/view?key=agdpcGxheTRlchMLEgtDaGFyYWN0ZXJWMhiHnxsM&xsl=jPint returns the mobile HTML for the character Gilpa.

Did you mean to reference xslorcist in the latter?
