The Brain Awareness Week is about to kick-off again.

Brain Awareness Week is een international event aiming at making the
public awareness bigger for brain research in total. The different
parties involved are as broad as private attendees and organizations,
to Universities around the world and even K-12 schools. In other
words, they try to reach the widest audience possible.

One of the interesting issues involved is the justly published 2008
Progress Report on Brain Research.

This publication shows essays on the arts and cognition, by Michael
Gazzaniga, and deep brain stimulation, by Mahlon DeLong and Thomas
Wichman.

i emailed DeLong and Wichman asking for their expert opinion on the
iPlant, will be sure to let you all know what they said

In addition to the initial post I found the european devision of this
organization. Exclusively promoting brain research in europe.
