65 years ago, 21 national patent attorneys founded a European association. These practitioners came from various countries and shared the ambition of strengthening cooperation within our profession. Over the years, both the scope of the association and its reach have expanded, leading to its current name: the ‘Union of European Practitioners in Intellectual Property’ (UNION-IP).
The IPKat has been informed that, to celebrate its 65th anniversary, UNION-IP will organize a special congress, which the Dutch group of UNION-IP will host.
The
congress’s brochure provides an overview of both the scientific programme and the social programme. It is expected that more than 100 international participants from across Europe will join.
