Retromark: The Conference (26 March 2026)
A reminder that the 2026 edition of Retromark: the conference takes place on Thursday 26 March at the Moorgate offices of Simmons & Simmons from 2pm. Gordon Humphreys, EUIPO Board of Appeal, will deliver the keynote speech, with the full line-up available

IPRE 2026
The School of Law of the University of Geneva (UNIGE) has launched a Call for Applications for the IP Researchers Europe Conference (IPRE) 2026, which will be held in collaboration with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Geneva on 18-19 June 2026. The deadline to apply to present is scheduled for Monday, 16 March 2026. Further information is available

2026 World IP Day
26 April is World IP Day. This year, the theme is 'IP and Sports: Ready, Set, Innovate'. To mark the occasion, WIPO has also launched a Youth Video Competition, inviting individuals and groups to create and submit a 60 to 90-second video showcasing how IP rights fuel innovation and creativity in the sports world. Participants are encouraged to explore the connection between sports and IP: How do IP rights empower creators, inventors, and entrepreneurs in the sports industry?
