16 to 18 June 2027: ALAI Congress 2027: Copyright – Past, Present, and Future In
2027, it will be 60 years since the 1967 Stockholm Diplomatic
Conference reshaped the modern international copyright system through
the revision of the Berne Convention, inter alia, by introducing the
reproduction right at the international level and the first formulation
of the three-step test. The ALAI Congress 2027 will explore how these
foundational principles are being challenged and reinterpreted in the

Patent and Trade Mark NewsMoldova becomes 40th member of the European Patent Organisation The
Republic of Moldova became the 40th member state of the European Patent
Organisation on 1 June 2026, following its accession to the European
Patent Convention earlier this year. As a result, European patent
applications will now automatically designate Moldova, simplifying and

UKIPO launched new Knowledge Asset Management Hub The
UK Intellectual Property Office has launched a new Knowledge Asset
Management Hub aimed at strengthening IP capability and supporting the
commercialisation of research. The Hub is a collection of resources to
